Make an appointment

  • What if I cannot make a telephone appointment via the website?

    Sometimes our calling schedules are fully booked. In that case call 010-8507612 and select '2' and leave us a voicemail. We will contact you the same say.

  • Do I need to make an appointment with the doctor?

    If you are in doubt, we recommend that you first look at moetiknaardedokter.nl. The information on this site has been prepared by general practitioners. So here you will find reliable information and advice.

  • How can I make an appointment?

    You can easily make a telephone appointment via the website. You choose the moment that suits you best. The practice will contact you at the chosen time.

  • How do I make an appointment at the practice?

    At our practice you have direct contact with your GP. Together we will determine whether it makes sense for you to come to the practice or whether it is not necessary. Handy, because this means you don't always have to come to the practice. If it is desirable for you to come to the practice, the GP will immediately schedule a follow-up consultation with you.

  • What should I do if the practice is closed and I need urgent medical care that cannot wait until the next working day?

    If your symptoms are so urgent that they cannot wait until the next working day, please contact the GP Emergency Post at Maasstad Hospital on 010-2909888.

Health

  • Why I cannot send an e-cunsultation during the weekend?

    Every Monday morning, we started with a list of at least 40 e-consultations. While it is valuable that patients can also share their concerns and symptoms with us over the weekend, this created additional pressure on Monday’s consultation hours. That is why we are starting a trial period in which this level of accessibility will be temporarily adjusted. In this way, we aim to assess whether access to care for patients remains sufficient, while also achieving a better balance in workload for doctors and assistants. We would appreciate your feedback on this, as we learn from it.

  • What do medicine cost?

    Medication costs depend on your health insurance, your deductible, and whether the medicine is included in the basic insurance package. Sometimes you may need to pay a personal contribution in addition to the pharmacy costs.. check www.medicijnkosten.nl for more information.

  • I cannot afford my medication or other healthcare costs, what should I do?

    We believe that everyone should have access to basic healthcare. For this reason, we have a small financial buffer that we use to help in such situations. Please do not feel ashamed of financial difficulties,: talk to us about it, and we may be able to help.

  • How do I ensure that my urine is tested if I have urinary complaints?

    You can hand in a clean jar with fresh morning urine at the practice. You can find out how to do this at Thuisarts.nl/cystitis. I will test the sample the samen day and if necessary, I will start further examination.

  • Why am I getting an email from a company called Viduet?

    For patients who need regular check-ups, we have entered into a partnership with the company Viduet. Together with them, we ensure that your appointment takes place on time and is well prepared. They will send you e-mail messages on behalf of our practice. Such a message may be, for example, an invitation to schedule an appointment with us. We appreciate it if you respond to such a request.

Portal

  • How you I get my refill prescriptions?

    If you medicine are listed as 'chronic' in your file you are able to see and aks refill the via the website. I kindly ask you to do this through the patient portal. This helps prevent errors and saves valuable time that we can use to provide better care.

  • What do I need to use the patient portal?

    You need a personal email address and a Dutch 06 number. We also recommend that children create their own email address. If you do not yet have login details, provide your details in the form at the bottom of this page or call the practice to request them.

  • What do I need to use the patient portal?

  • Where is the practice located?

    At Zuidhoek 142, next to our house. The practice can be recognized by the green/white Roffa Sign. The second location is situated at Schilperoortstraat 104.

General

  • Will there always be someone at the practice?

    No, I am usually the only doctor in the practice and this also means that I may sometimes not be present at the practice. If I am not there, please leave a message via the portal or a voice mail message. I will contact you within several days. If it is an emergency, please call the emergency hotline.

  • How do I put my doctor's website on the home screen of my iPhone or iPad?

    Open Safari. Go to your doctor's website. Tap the Share button at the bottom (top of the iPad). ... Tap Add to Home Screen. If necessary, tap the name of the site and type a different name. Tap Add. The site icon is now on the home screen.

  • How do I put my doctor's website on the home screen of my Android phone?

    Open the Chrome browser. Go to your doctor's website. Tap an icon with three dots at the top right. Tap 'Add to Home Screen'. Give the site a recognizable title or leave the default name. Tap 'Add > Add'. The site icon is now on the home screen.

  • How do I request my repeat medication?

    We kindly ask you to do this via our portal. This prevents errors and saves us a lot of time that we can use to provide better care.
